Granite and
Marble are natural materials and as such are
subject to variations in colour, marking and texture,
not only from one batch to another but also within a
given batch. This, in our opinion, adds to the natural
beauty of the materials and sets them apart from factory
produced composite products.
If variations are considered inappropriate, customers
are advised to ask for details and prices for our
Silestone and Corian Ranges
where there is a greater degree of consistency in the
colour and pattern. We cannot accept claims for variations
in colour markings, texture or any other variation in
a natural material.
There is a great variety of granite colours available
and the most popular ones are illustrated on this site.
Please ask if you require a colour not shown and we
can almost certainly obtain it for you. The usual thickness
for kitchen worktops is 30 mm with a 20 mm upstand if
required. If a 40 mm worktop is required, this is formed
using two 20 mm thicknesses on an NMF underframe.
In bathrooms a 20 mm thickness is sufficient, bearing
in mind the absence of unsupported areas like built-under
dishwashers, typical in a kitchen, where the additional
strength of a thicker top is required.
The maximum length without a join is usually 2. 8 metres |
